The prestigious St. Edward High School Booster Club Student Athlete Award is awarded annually to one male and one female student athlete in each class.  To qualify to receive an application for the award, students must:

• Have accumulative 3.25 GPA in the classroom, as verified by the school office.
• Participate on at least one athletic team during the school year, as verified by the Athletic Director.

Applications are emailed out to all eligible student athletes in the spring.  The only way a student can be selected as a winner of the award is by returning that application.  An outside panel reviews the part of the application form that does not contain the individual names of the students. Members of the review panel are supporters of St. Edward High School but are not members of the school’s staff or advisory boards or coaching staff. Further, members of the panel do not have a student currently attending St. Edward High School nor have had a student attend St. Edward in the past three years.

Senior award winners are typically announced at the awards ceremony after the Baccalaureate mass, and underclass award winners are typically announced the following fall.
